With over 15 years as a consultant and leader in educational software, Guy worked closely with schools across the United States. His curiosity about how we understand the world and protect those we love inspired him to write his first novel, which follows a young girl with a unique gift—visions that help her shield children from hidden dangers.
The idea for the novel grew over several years and took more than four years to complete. As a first-time novelist, Guy experimented with various writing tools and techniques, refining the story through at least five major drafts. Writing from multiple perspectives, especially those of the antagonists, was one of the most challenging parts, requiring both research and creative exploration.
Guy’s love of science fiction and his experiences in technology helped shape the story, blending real-world challenges with imaginative, supernatural elements. This debut novel is the culmination of years of dedication, curiosity, and a passion for storytelling.
